BRAOK Annual Meeting

Description:

During this meeting we will finalize the 2012 event schedule, vote on any changes to the bylaws, and discuss ways to improve bicycle racing in Oklahoma.

Where: Conference Cottage at the Stableridge Vineyards (map)

When: Noon until 5pm. 

A lite lunch will be provided.  Stableridge does not allow small children on the premises due to liability issues.

A casual, no-drop ride will leave from Stableridge at 9am.  It will include dirt roads near Stroud, but a roadbike with sturdy training wheels should be fine.  A cross bike wouldn't hurt. 

Per the current bylaws, your club must be in good standing with BRAOK and USAC to vote on any bylaw changes and officer elections.  Please ensure that your club has rejoined USAC by this time.  If you are starting a new club, we encourage you to attend the upcoming meeting.

Please review the proposed bylaw changes with your club/team before attending.

The process for building the 2012 Road Racing calender has begun.  Please contact BRAOK President, Nathan Leigh to get your event added to the planning calendar.  Please include the following information:

  • Event name
  • Prefered date
  • Alternate date (required)
  • Date held last year
  • Location and venue.
  • Type of event (criterium, road race, time trial, stage race, omnium).
  • Estimated total prizelist.
  • Interest in submitting for State Championships (Crit, Road, or TT)
