David Lynch on behalf of BRAOK will be conducting a clinic on operating the association finish line camera set up. This will be for Oklahoma USAC officials who might be called upon to operate the  camera at Oklahoma bicycle races. The clinic will take place on February 25, 2012 from 10:00 AM till 12:00 NOON at the University Babtist Church, 2515 N. Kickapoo in Shawnee, OK. 

Take the Kickapoo exit off I-40 and go south 2 miles. Church is 1 block past the Kickapoo/Mac arthur intersection on the left (east) side.

BRAOK will be hosting  clinic for beginner or new racers.  It will take place on March 3, 2012 starting at 10:00 AM. This will be held at the TW crit course located 1 block north of  East Admiral PL on 109th E Ave. Riders must bring their bikes and sign a waiver. There is no charge.  We will have a short ( 20 to 30 min.) discussion on racing and rules. Then we will break up into small groups and do some on the bike instruction on cornering, riding in a pack , drafting ect.  We will have food and drinks available. So if you are a new rider or one that would like to try racing, please come out. We would like to have 20 to 25 riders out. On bike instructor will be Buster Brown. The proposed bylaw changes for 2012 have been posted.  These will be voted on this Sunday, January 22nd during the annual meeting.

The annual BRAOK meeting to elect 2012 officers and plan the race calendar will be on January 22, 2012 in Stroud, Oklahoma. The meeting will take place in the conference cottage at the StableRidge Winery, 2016 W. Hwy 66 in Stroud starting at noon. Each BRAOK member club will have a vote on items that come up so be sure your club is represented. Also have your dates ready for any events your club plans to promote in 2012. Hope to have a good number of clubs there.

Oklahoma Championship Jerseys will be awarded for the following categories:

Category Men 1/2, Men 3, & Women 1/2/3
Masters Age Group Men 40-49, Men 50-59, Men 60+, and Women 40+
Junior Men and Women 10-14, 15-16, and 17-18

Men 4 & Women 4 will NOT recieve a championship jersey, but will recieve medals.

Staging for each group is dependent on pre-registration, so please pre-register.
